Patricia Blind Iannone, age 81, of Glen Cove, New York, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, surrounded by family.
Born on July 18, 1945, in Glen Cove, New York, Patricia was the daughter of William Blind and Angeline Blind Ritchie. She lived a life devoted to family, finding her greatest joy in the relationships she nurtured and the memories she created with those she loved.
Patricia was the former wife of Anthony Iannone and the proud mother of wo daughters, Donna Stumper (Gary) and Janine Grande (Lawrence). She was a devoted grandmother whose love and guidance enriched the lives of her grandchildren: Lauren, Christopher, Melissa, Timothy, Anthony and Nicholas. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family and watching her children and grandchildren grow.
She is survived by her loving sisters, Carol Crawford (Roland) and Nancy Dorfman (David) along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, William Blind, her brother, William Bind Jr., her mother, Angeline Blind Ritchie; and her stepfather William Ritchie.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home in Glen Cove, New York. A Funeral Mass celebrating Patricia's life will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Glen Cove, New York, with a private burial to follow.
Though her physical presence is gone, the love she shared and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. While her life may be marked by two dates, it is the small dash between them that tells the true story. Patricia lived her life to the fullest extent, adding immeasurable love, kindness, and joy to her small dash.
We would like to thank the staff at The Regency at Glen Cove, Care First, and Northwell Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
May she rest in eternal peace.
