Payano, Luz A. passed away peacefully on July 22, 2017, at the age of 71 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in the Dominican Republic in 1946, Luz immigrated to the United Stated in 1979 to build a better life for her and her children. Luz was a devoted mother to her daughter Milkenia (Kevin) Horton and her son, Alexander Flores, USMC Ret. (Arely). She is survived by four beloved grandchildren: Christopher and Samantha Horton and Angel and Nataly Flores.
