MEGIEL, John C. (Jack) formerly of Albertson on September 7, 2017 at 90 years. USMC veteran of WWII. Jack was a licensed funeral director and owner of Megiel Funeral Home, Inc in Maspeth, Queens and McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home Inc in Glen Cove. Beloved husband of the late Marie. Loving father of Jacqueline (Dr. Armando) Grassi, Judith (Michael) Kalman, James G. (Valerie) Megiel, Janice (Paul) Leventhal, Jennifer (Erik) Sengstaken, Jeanne (Gary) Lofgren, Jill (Bill) Marks, Jeffrey Megiel and the late Joanne (Ted) Klumpp and John J. Megiel II. Cherished grandfather of 16. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday Sept. 16th 7-9 PM , Sunday Sept. 17th 3-5 & 7-9 PM at McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Inc. 220 Glen St, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass 10 AM Monday at the Church of St. Aidan. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
