Joanne Nigro (nee Giordano) of Glen Cove passed away June 4, 2022. She died surrounded by her loving family at the age of 93 after a long battle with cancer. Joanne was born and raised in the Breezy Hill area of Westbury. She moved to Glen Cove in 1952 after marrying James Nigro (deceased). Joanne is survived by her daughters Joanne Perrini, Patricia Nigro and Maryanne Cassella, her son-in-law Don Perrini, her grandchildren Danielle, Joseph (Angela), Gregory and Jason, her great-grandchild Sofia, her sister Angela as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. Joanne loved well and was well loved. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation Tuesday, June 7th from 3 to 7 pm at McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, 220 Glen St., Glen Cove.

Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Patrick, Wednesday at 9 am. Interment at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
