JENNIE MICHETTI (September 9, 1948 - December 23, 2014) Jennie was the beloved partner of Dennis Mayer. She was the daughter of the late Nina and the late Orlando Michetti. Jennie loved and was loved by many family members and friends. Jennie was an educator from 1987 through 2007. She positively influenced many children during these years. She loved to paint and created beautiful artwork. Jennie was an animal-lover and supported local shelters. Cremation was on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Fresh Pond Crematory, 61-40 Mount Olivet Crescent, Middle Village, NY 11379. A celebration of Jennie?s life, with a gathering of family and friends, will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to www.lustgarten.org for Pancreatic Cancer Research, in Jennie?s memory.
