In Loving Memory of Gerald Owens, 59, devoted husband and father.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Gerald James Owens, a devoted husband, cherished father, beloved son, and caring brother. Gerald was a beacon of love, strength and compassion and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on February 24, 1966, in Belshill, Scotland Gerald lived his life filled with kindness, generosity and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends.  As a husband he was a devoted loving partner to his wife Ramona (nee Diaz) with whom he shared nearly 30 years of marriage building a life full of love, laughter and cherished memories.  As a father, he was an inspiration and a source of endless support to his twin boys, Ethan and Brendan

Gerald was also a devoted son to John and Ellen Owens, a treasured brother to John.  His family meant everything to him, and he always put their happiness and wellbeing above all else.  His warmth and kindness extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of countless others through his friendship, work, and community involvement.

Gerald will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and generous nature.  He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience and a life well lived.

Visitation will be held 10AM to 11AM, Monday, December 15, 2025, at Mclaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home with prayer service at 11AM.

Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
