Eileen Brown Chamberlain passed away at home on December 6, 2022. She was a long-time resident of Locust Valley with her now deceased husband John Chamberlain. More recently, she lived in Matinecock Farms in Glen Cove, with her beloved dog Redford.

Eileen will be deeply missed by her three children, sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. She will also be dearly remembered by her close friends, nieces and nephews. She loved music, cooking and dogs. She also practiced law, after earning her J.D. law degree at the age of sixty-three. She was a graduate of Barnard College and kept her very keen mind until the day she died. She will be remembered, especially by her grandchildren, for her playful and mischievous sense of humor, and her love of words.

A wake will be held on Friday December 9, 2022, from 3-6pm at McLaughlin, Kramer, Megiel Funeral Home, 220 Glen Street in Glen Cove, NY 11542. The funeral mass for Eileen will be held on December 10, 2022, at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church in Glen Cove, NY. The burial will follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
