Anne Folan, age 66, of Glen Cove, NY, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026.

Anne had a rare gift for making people feel at home. She never met a stranger. Friendships seemed to find her wherever she went, and once you were her friend, you were family. Her table was always set for one more, and her kitchen was the heart of every gathering. She was a remarkable cook, a natural hostess, and she was always impeccably dressed. What people will remember most is how welcome she made them feel. Anne wouldn't have had it any other way.

Above all, Annie treasured her family. She shared 43 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Stephen, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. Together they built a beautiful life and raised four children: Stephanie (Courtney), Matthew (Erin), Jacqueline (Samantha), and Mark. She was an adoring grandmother to Emilia, Nora, and George, who brought immeasurable joy.

Anne is survived by her husband, Stephen, her children, grandchildren, and countless friends and family who loved her dearly!

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 11, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, 220 Glen Street, Glen Cove, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 235 Glen Street, Glen Cove, NY followed by a burial service at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, 500 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY.
