Andrew (Andy) Costello, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and bisnonno, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the of 96.  He was alert, lucid, and articulate until his last few days.  Andrew was married to Norma for 70 years; they were an inseparable and devoted couple.  He enjoyed his children, Carol (Albert) and Andrew Joseph Jr. (Marianna), his grandchildren, Albert Andrew (Pamela), Giancarlo, Andrew Joseph III, and Aidan John as well as great-granddaughter, Diana Fenice, every day.

Andrew was a Korean War veteran with various citations and honors, and an NYU graduate and professional engineer.  He loved being active, playing tennis, sailing, traveling and socializing.  He was especially welcoming to friends, extended family, nieces and nephews.  Andrew was an extremely knowledgeable man, and he valued effort, perseverance, and the wisdom of generations.

He will be missed, but his spirit will last forever in those who loved him.

Visitation Monday, November 24th 3-5 and 7-9PM at McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home 220 Glen Street, Glen Cove, N.Y.Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM, Tuesday, November 25th, 2025 at St. Patrick Church, Glen Cove.  Interment to follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y.
